STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE IN FLASHING WITH THE UPDATED ORIGINAL FIRMWARE(ASIAN)

THIS IS THE MANUAL METHOD OF UPGRADING YOUR CORBY2 USING THE UPDATED ORIGINAL FIRMWARE WITH QWERTY KEYPAD.

TO START THINGS, YOU NEED TO HAVE THESE:

1. COMPUTER OR LAPTOP(HEHEHE)

2. CORBY2 (HEHEHE)

3. USB CORD

4. MULTILOADER

5. SAMSUNG KIES OR SAMSUNG USB DRIVER

6. FIRMWARE

POINTERS:

-make sure you know how to set the net/gprs settings

-make sure your phone is fully charged

-kies should be closed or not running

-make sure there are no other devices connected to your computer

-extract the firmware

-do it at your own risk

-this is a landscape qwerty upgrade not portrait

-if your not sure about this, dont try it.

- i will not be responsible if anything goes wrong with your corby.

OK LETS GO

1. open your multiloader

2. click brcm2133

3. click full download

4. copy and drag to the multiloader all the 8 files of the extracted firmware

*others put apps of the extracted firmware in the amms of the multiloader, its your choice. eitherway, they're both ok.

5. remove your simcard and memory card

6. put your corby into download mode( low volume+ lock/poweron + call button)while doing this your phone should be off, with battery inserted.

7. connect your corby to pc. w8 for about 15 sec

8. click port search, wait untill "ready frappe" appears. click port search again and again untill it appears.

9. click download, your phone will reset and you will see " download" on the screen of your corby.

10. wait untill the process is complete.

11. your phone will restart after downloading is finished, you can now disconnect your corby

12. it is adviced that you should not change the csc.

13. insert your sim and memory card.

14. request for net/gprs settings from your sim provider.

15. its done, your phone is now upgraded.
